| Coins in a
Line
In this two-person game, a given number of coinspennies,
nickels, dimes, and quartersis arranged in a long row. The
first player chooses a coin from one of the ends, and the coin is
removed from the row. The second player then chooses a coin from
one of the ends of the line of remaining coins. The two players
take turns removing a coin in this manner until all the coins are
gone. The player with the larger amount of money wins.
To play the game, select the number of coins you would
like to have in the row (from 2 to 100). You can also choose to
play against the computer or against another human player. Then click "Start Game."
NOTE: To play this game, your Web browser must be
able to run Java applets. This applet runs best on Netscape, Firefox,
Opera, and some versions of Internet Explorer.
